The 1:48 Messerschmitt Bf-109E In and Out masking set from the Dead Design brand is, according to the name, meant for masking from outside and inside.
Responsibility details are not available.
A masking set from the Dead Design brand in 1:48 scale for the Bf-109E. The epithet in the name says that the set covers masking from both faces - that is, including the inner face of the glazing, which is in view on the cockpit and which has its frames painted in the interior shade. It is a more extensive version than the basic set in the same range, and the extra work matches that.
The Bf-109E has a cockpit made up of several flat panes in a metal frame. Looking down into the model, the inner frames are well in view, so painting only from outside gives away that the glazing is really a bare transparent part. That is exactly why the version for both faces exists.
Do the inner masking before you glue the part into the fuselage. The procedure that has proved itself: stick the inner masks on, spray the interior shade, let it dry, and only then stick the outer masks on and spray the outer camouflage. Watch out for the glue - the glazing is bonded with a clear glue for clear parts or spot by spot with a low-outgassing cyanoacrylate, because ordinary solvent cement will fog the transparent part under the mask and the mistake can no longer be put right. Fill the cavity of the cockpit with a piece of foam or cotton wool while spraying, so that no overspray gets inside around the edge of the mask.
The set holds masks only. The model, paints and glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
