A pack from the Czech maker Eduard of the LööKplus range, put together for a model of the Grumman F-14A in its late production form, 1:48 scale. It is not one set but several accessories sold together and tuned to the same model. The bundle covers more places on the model than a single part could. The exact make-up is on the box and in the instructions supplied.
On a large two-seat fighter with a variable-geometry wing, what shows most is the cockpit and the small external details that plastic captures in simplified form. The LööKplus range settles those places all at once, so putting accessories together one by one and working out which ones match falls away. A smaller set without the plus suffix is also made for the same model, so it is worth comparing how much work you want to put in.
Parts rendered in color are not repainted. Wash the resin parts clean of mold release agent, cut the casting blocks off with a saw and finish the sanded surfaces with your airways protected. They are glued with cyanoacrylate glue, and on larger parts with the gel kind, for the longer time it allows for settling them. Bend the photo-etched parts in one movement and sand off the plastic beneath them, or they will not seat. Try everything that goes into the cockpit or between the fuselage halves dry before any gluing, so that the fuselage closes up properly afterward.
This is a set of accessories, not an airplane model. The kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
