A collector's model of the fourth-generation Skoda Octavia RS in 1:43 scale in the color finish Phoenix Orange metallic. The model is finished: it is supplied assembled and painted, so there is no building, no gluing and no spraying. Orange is among the less usual shades, which makes this variant a more striking piece that will not blend in among the usual silver and blue cars in a display case.
The fourth-generation Octavia remains a practical compact-class car with generous room inside and in the luggage compartment. The RS version forms the top of the range and sets itself apart with a sportier suspension setting, a reworked front bumper and grille, different wheels and trim in a dark gloss finish. More saturated and less usual paints are a typical order precisely on the sporting versions, so they have their place in model form as well.
Light, saturated metallic paints reveal every bit of dust, but at the same time they take small fingerprints better than dark shades. Even so, take hold of the model by the chassis or through a soft cloth. Remove dust with a soft brush, or else with compressed air from a greater distance. Do not use cleaners, solvents or polishes, as factory paint is sensitive to them. For long-term keeping a closed display case out of direct sun is best, because ultraviolet light shifts the color fastest on saturated shades.
It is a finished collector's model. It is not supplied as a kit and is not meant for gluing, sanding or repainting.
