The Hawker Siddeley Harrier GR.3 was a single-seat strike and reconnaissance aircraft of the Royal Air Force with vertical and short takeoff. Power came from a single turbofan engine with thrust vectoring, whose four swiveling nozzles allowed takeoff and landing from a short surface even away from a conventional runway. The GR.3 version is told from earlier variants by the lengthened forward fuselage with a laser rangefinder and target designator, which is where the subtitle on the box comes from. The wing is high-mounted with prominent outrigger landing gear legs at the tips, and the main landing gear is arranged in tandem under the fuselage.
Cut the small parts, above all the landing gear legs and the swiveling nozzles, with a sharp knife and sand them cleanly. Glue with liquid cement for plastic drawn into the seam only once the parts are seated. It is worth masking the cockpit before spraying; at this scale narrow masking tape or liquid masking putty will do. Lay down a thin primer and only then the paint, applied with an airbrush in several light coats. Darker camouflages benefit from preshading the panel lines so that the model does not look flat. Apply the decals onto a gloss coat with a decal softener and seal everything with a matte coat.
