Evolution Miniatures 1:35 American tank crews, Second World War is an unpainted multi-figure set in 1:35 scale for models of armored vehicles.
Responsibility details are not available.
A figure set in 1:35 scale from Evolution Miniatures with the subject of American tank crews of the Second World War period. The name is in the plural, so there is more than one figure, but the exact number is not stated here. The set is supplied unpainted and unassembled. Crew figures fill the hatches of the turret and the hull and give a vehicle model scale and action without your having to build a whole diorama.
American tank clothing of this period is painted in olive and khaki tones. Keep the crew's overalls and jackets in a subdued olive and the shirts and trousers underneath a shade lighter and grayer. The tank helmet with its protruding ear defenders is the most prominent element; do it matte and darker than the textile, and the leather items in brown tones. On a set with several figures, vary the base shade slightly so that the figures do not look like a row of identical castings, but keep the spread small. Darken the metal buckles and clasps and give them only a gentle polish. The actual clothing and equipment are determined by the casting itself and are not specified here.
The material of the castings is not stated here. Wash resin parts in warm water with detergent and glue them with cyanoacrylate; polystyrene ones are joined with modeling cement for plastic. Clean up the mold seams and the remains of the sprue gates before priming. With crew figures, first check dry how the individual figures sit in the particular hatches of your model, and make any adjustments to the lower part of the body before painting. Paint the whole set in one go, with the same primer, wash and final clear coat, so that the figures form one crew. Leave the faces until last and do them in a single session so that they have the same skin tone.
The figures are supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
