A set of ten German jerrycans in 1:35 scale, in the closed version. An accessory for vehicle models and for figure subjects of the Second World War.
Responsibility details are not available.
The German standard jerrycan is one of the best-known pieces of equipment of the Second World War. The twenty-liter container had three handles side by side, so one man could carry one in each hand and two men could hand it over, and in its side it had pressed ribs that stiffened the sheet and left the liquid room to expand. The cap closed with a lever without tools. The solution proved itself so well that a number of armies adopted it after the war and it is still made in a similar form today.
The set brings ten jerrycans in 1:35 scale, all in the closed version, that is with their caps shut. You will use them on the fenders and carriers of vehicles, on trailers, at field depots and as a small prop beside figures.
Cut the excess material off with a sharp blade a little away from the part and sand the remainder down carefully so that the ribbing in the side is not damaged. Wash and degrease the parts before painting. Choose the base shade according to the vehicle the jerrycans belong to, but try to shade the individual pieces differently, because in practice they came from different deliveries and time found them in different condition. Chipped paint on the edges and rust at the bottom will turn a small part into a noticeable detail.
This is a supplementary set for a build. The model of the vehicle, paints and glue are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
