Kits-World 1:32 Messerschmitt Bf-109G-6 3D full-color Instrument Panel is a full-color three-dimensional instrument panel on decal paper.
Responsibility details are not available.
An accessory from the maker Kits-World for the cockpit of a model in the large scale. The print of the instrument panel is in full color, has a three-dimensional structure and is printed on decal paper, so it is transferred into a model as a decal. It is neither a part to be glued nor a kit.
At the start stands a decision about what to do with the original part in the kit. Cast dials look good under paint and a wash, but they will never give legible scales; a printed panel is legible at once, but it needs a flat base. The two cannot be combined: either you sand the relief off and use the print, or you keep the plastic and paint. If you decide for the decal, level the surface with fine abrasive paper, check the outline and the edges with a dry fit, and only then varnish. With a cockpit with side frames take care that the design does not reach beyond the surface of the panel; a shifted panel is more conspicuous seen from above than an imperfect shade of the interior.
A gloss base is a condition, otherwise silvering arises. Soak the decal in warm water, transfer it, straighten it and push the water out from under it. Dose the softener drop by drop. Once it is completely dry, apply the matte varnish to the surroundings and leave the glasses of the instruments glossy. Unify the sprayed features of the cockpit in shade, so that they do not come across as flat against the print.
An accessory for a model. A kit, paints and glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
