Areas of this kind, with a radius of roughly 1.8 meters, were typical of the airfields of the Soviet Air Force and the People's Liberation Army Air Force from the 1950s to the early 1970s. The base measures 450 x 450 mm, scale 1:72. It serves as a base under aircraft models on display and as the foundation of a diorama.
