MDF Movement Trays 28,5mm x5 - SLIM-FIT

MDF Movement Trays 28.5 mm x5, the SLIM-FIT Version

A movement tray of fiberboard for five models on round bases 28.5 mm in diameter from Green Stuff World. It serves so that a whole unit is moved across a playing surface in one go instead of figure by figure. It is neither a model nor a kit but a gaming aid.

Use

• Moving a whole unit in one step, without rearranging the individual models after every move.
• The SLIM-FIT version means a tight fit: the recesses are set as close together as possible, so the outline of the unit matches the real arrangement of the models and no needless play is left between the bases.
• Carrying a unit in play safely from the table into a storage box and back.
• The fiberboard can be painted and even sanded so that the tray matches the bases of the models; before painting, though, treat it with primer, otherwise the surface will soak it up.
• Do not glue the models into the recesses; the tray assumes that individual pieces are taken out during play.

Who it is for

For players of tabletop battle games who move units made up of several models on bases 28.5 mm in diameter and want to speed their turns up and lower the risk of something breaking off during a move. Compared with the looser variants in the same range, SLIM-FIT has a narrower spacing, so a unit takes up less space on the table and maneuvers better in confined places.

The tray is supplied on its own. The models, paints and glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
