A plastic kit of the Russian KAMAZ K-4386 Typhoon-VDV armored wheeled vehicle in 1:35 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
The Typhoon-VDV is a Russian armored wheeled vehicle intended for the airborne troops. It belongs to the Typhoon family of protected vehicles and is the lighter and smaller member of it: it is meant to be carried by air, and so it could not grow to the dimensions of its heavier siblings. The chassis stands on four driven wheels, the hull is built as a protected space for the crew and the individual configurations differ in their superstructure and equipment.
The 1:35 scale is the most widespread one for ground hardware. The model will therefore fit in among the other vehicles in a collection and figures, accessories and diorama elements of the same size can be added to it without trouble.
With wheeled vehicles the geometry of the chassis decides. Before the glue sets hard, stand the assembly on a flat board and check that all four wheels touch the surface; otherwise the model will stand crooked and it will show. If the set holds wheels with a flattened contact patch, turn the flat side down toward the ground. Mask the vision ports and the glazing before spraying, not once the paint has dried. Wash and degrease the parts before painting, apply the paint in several light coats and add the dust and mud at the end, from the bottom upward.
Paints, glue and putty are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
