Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the British Airco DH.9 biplane in 1:144 scale from the Czech manufacturer Valom. The package is made up as a double set, so it holds two complete models in one box. Photo-etched parts complete the small features.
The Airco DH.9 was a British single-engine two-seat day bomber of the First World War. It came about as a development of the earlier DH.4, but in service it was dogged by trouble with the power of its engine. Even so it became one of the widespread British bombers of the closing stages of the war and was used in the postwar period as well.
The small 1:144 scale makes demands on accuracy; cut the small parts off carefully and glue them with a thin plastic cement. Glue the photo-etched items with cyanoacrylate. Apply a primer before painting and reach for the airbrush on the large areas, while a patient hand will see to the bracing wires and the struts. Apply the decals on a gloss coat.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
