Decals in 1:32 for the Spitfire LF Mk.IXE in the postwar Czechoslovak Air Force. These are waterslide decals, soaked in water.
Responsibility details are not available.
The Spitfire in the LF Mk.IXE version is a late pattern with the Rolls-Royce Merlin V12 engine tuned for performance at low and medium altitude. The letter E relates to the armament: on each wing half these machines carried a 20 mm cannon and a 12.7 mm heavy machine gun. The type reached the Czechoslovak Air Force after the Second World War, when pilots returning from Britain flew it, and for several postwar years it belonged to the main fighter force.
A decal sheet in 1:32 for postwar Czechoslovak machines. These are classic waterslide decals on backing paper: once soaked, the printed layer comes free and slides onto the model. Which particular machines and which markings the sheet covers is given in the instructions supplied by the manufacturer.
Give the base under a decal a gloss clear coat, because on a matte surface air stays under the film and the edge of the decal then shows through. Cut the decal out as closely as you can, soak it in lukewarm water and let it stand for a while on a paper towel until it can be moved. Slide it from the paper onto the model and adjust the position with a brush. Apply the softener drop by drop and let it work; do not poke at a softened decal, or it will tear. Once it has dried, give the whole area a matte or semi-gloss clear coat.
The kit, the paints, the clear coats and the softener are not included in the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
