Dipping ink 17 ml - Azure Dip

A dipping ink in a clean, bright blue register. It is applied generously, runs into the recesses and engraved lines by itself and darkens the shadow there, while on the raised areas it leaves behind a translucent cast of color. The bottle has a volume of 17 ml.

Why a light base decides

Azure is a bright tone with little gray in it, so what is underneath counts the most. Over a white or very light gray area it comes out fully, because a light base does not muddy the shade. Over a light blue base it strengthens the saturation and adds depth without changing family. Over dark gray or black, however, its brightness is lost and mainly the darkening of the shadows remains, because the base absorbs the shade. That is usual with clean bright tones and it is worth counting on when choosing the base color.

Use

• Stir the contents of the bottle before use.
• Apply generously, so that the ink runs into all the recesses.
• You will reach the brightest result over a light base color.
• Build up the saturation by dipping again, not with one strong coat.
• Try the shade in a hidden place beforehand.
