What the set is for

Vision blocks, periscopes and the cover glass of instruments tend to be nothing but blind plastic bumps in a kit, which at best can be painted over. Clear items do away with that weakness: under the clear coat they show through like real glass, and on a finished model the top of the turret and the front section come alive with reflections that paint cannot give.

What the set contains

The set is made for a model of the T-14 tank in 1:35 and according to the name it is cut to the kit from Zvezda. It contains clear items matching the vision blocks and observation devices of the real vehicle. The list and the procedure are given in the manufacturer's instructions. The designation of the tank is written incompletely in the name, as the number 14 with no type abbreviation.

Building tips

Fit the items only onto a finished and painted model, or they will easily get dirty and scratched. Pick them up with tweezers or a stick with wax, not with your fingers, so that no greasy prints stay on them. If the instructions call for gluing, avoid cyanoacrylate glue on clear parts, as its fumes will fog the surface; glue for clear parts is more suitable. The seats in the kit sometimes need a gentle cleanup, so that an item sits flush with the surrounding armor.
