A set of period movie and advertising posters 1:35 from ETA diorama is a printed accessory for a diorama and a display case, not a kit.
Responsibility details are not available.
This item is not a model and not a kit. It is a diorama accessory: a set of posters reduced to 1:35 scale, that is to the size in which military vehicles and figures are built. The posters form the layer of a scene that tends to show most on dioramas, because an empty wall works as a backdrop, whereas a wall with a tattered movie poster and an advertisement works as a particular place in a particular period.
The motifs are based on old movie and advertising posters, so they suit the facades of houses, wooden fences, construction boarding, the interior walls of rooms, advertising columns and small interior fittings. They also work well as an accessory in a display case, where a vehicle is to stand on a small base and needs a setting given by a few details. The number of motifs and their format are stated on the box of the set.
Cut with a sharp scalpel along a ruler so that the edges are clean. Dampen the paper slightly before gluing and let it bend into the shape of the base, so that on rough plaster no flat area appears to give away that it is stuck-on paper. It is glued with sparingly applied PVA glue or with wallpaper paste. Aging adds realism: a torn corner, a scuffed edge, a faint hint of pigment or a brown wash around the edge. At the end it is worth evening the surface out with a matte coat so that the paper does not reflect light differently from the surrounding scene.
This is a diorama accessory, not a model. Glue, paints, a base and figures are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
