1:35 Close combat panzerknacker No. 1 is a separate resin figure of an infantryman in 1:35 from the PANZER ART brand, made for a diorama or for a finished model of equipment.

A single figure in modeling resin in 1:35. It is not a vehicle kit but a figure with which a modeler fills out a finished model or a scene. The casting comes unpainted and unassembled. The number No. 1 in the name is the sequence marking of a particular pose within a line in which the same subject appears in several positions.
A resin casting holds fine detail, for example a seam of the clothing or the buckle of a strap, that would be lost in injection-molded plastic. The material is more brittle, though, and does not take bending. Before building, wash the parts in lukewarm water with dish soap, so that the remains of mold release agent disappear; without that, paint does not hold on the surface. Cut the gate off with a fine-toothed saw and sand the remainder down, so that a flat mating surface results. Wipe the parting line down with a sanding sponge and fill any gap. Glue the joints with cyanoacrylate glue; on larger faces a drop of glue with filler helps.
Apply the primer in a thin coat, or the engraving of the fabric will be lost. Then proceed from the large areas of the clothing to the small equipment and finally to the skin. For 1:35 scale it holds that the contrast has to be brought out: lighten the folds by one or two tones and darken the recesses with a glaze. Any camouflage pattern is a purely painting job — paint it with a thin brush once the base color has dried and bring it together at the end with a thin coat of matte clear coat. The figure suits a diorama with infantry in the field or as a counterweight to a vehicle model.
The figure is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints, a base and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
