A single figure in modeling resin in 1:35 made to bring a finished model of equipment or a diorama to life. It is not a vehicle kit. The sequence number No. 2 means that this is a different position of the same subject from the one the number No. 1 of the same line offers — the two can be combined into one scene. Take the marking given in the name as a statement about the type of uniform, for painting.
The material makes it possible to cast detail that could not be formed in injection-molded plastic, for example thin hems or small buttons. It is brittle, though, and does not take bending. The approach is always the same: wash in lukewarm water with dish soap because of the mold release agent, cut the casting block off with a modeling saw, sand the mating surface down and level the parting lines. Do the sanding wet and with your airways protected. Glue the joints with cyanoacrylate glue and fill small gaps with filler or with cyanoacrylate glue with filler.
Apply the base in a thin coat. On figures in 1:35 a raised contrast proves itself: lighten the edges and the raised folds and darken the recesses with a glaze, or the figure will read flat in a photograph. Finish the face and the hands with oil paints or very thinned acrylics, and paint the eyes with the thinnest brush once the skin has dried. Bring the whole surface together with a matte clear coat and leave only the leather and the metal details in a semi-gloss. The figure suitably fills out a model with a raised hatch or a group scene on a fender.
The figure is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints, a base and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
