A set of cast wheels for the Soviet GAZ-67 off-road car and for the BA-64 light armored car in 1:35 scale. The tires match those made by the Moscow tire plant. Cast wheels usually have the sag of the tire under the weight of the vehicle suggested and a sharper tread pattern, two things that plastic parts almost never offer.
The GAZ-67 was a Soviet light off-road car, a counterpart of the Allied vehicles of the same class, and the BA-64 was a light armored car built on its chassis. Both vehicles stood on the same wheels with a coarse off-road tread. The sag of the tire is clearly visible on light vehicles, because they are low and the wheel is at eye level.
Wash the parts in lukewarm water with detergent and cut the casting blocks off with a saw so that the cut falls in the contact area. Bond with super glue and check that all the wheels stand in the same plane. Paint the tires a dark gray rather than black, leave the crown lighter and apply a dark wash into the tread. Dirty the sidewalls according to the terrain.
The set is an accessory to a kit and does not replace the kit. Paints, glue and the model are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
