Responsibility details are not available.
A kit from the manufacturer Mark I in 1:144 scale, devoted to the last British fighter biplane and its commitment over Norway. The designation in the name covers both main production versions.
The Gladiator came into service at a time when all-metal monoplanes were already making their way, and yet it found a place for itself thanks to its agility and reliability. It had an enclosed cockpit, a Bristol Mercury radial engine and, against older types, markedly heavier armament. In the spring of 1940 it was fought with over snow-covered Norway, where the crews took off from hastily prepared strips, including a frozen lake.
The main task is the exact seating of the upper wing. Fit the struts one after another and let them cure in a clamp or in a simple support of wire, so that the wing stays parallel with the lower one. Rigging wires can be suggested with a thin filament tensioned by heat. Apply a winter scheme in patches and let the base shade show through, otherwise the surface looks flat.
The customer gets unassembled parts without paint. The aids for gluing and spraying are obtained separately, unless stated otherwise.
