A resin 1:35 accessory set from PANZER ART. It holds a set of off-road wheels with a coarse tread pattern (Gelände) for the German Kübelwagen light car. This is not a model of the vehicle but a set of replacement wheels for a more convincing chassis.
The Kübelwagen was a German light multi-purpose car built by Volkswagen and used widely during the Second World War. For cross-country driving it was fitted with tires with a coarse off-road tread. The cast resin parts capture the sharp tread pattern and the detail of the rim better than soft vinyl parts.
Wash the mold release agent off the wheels, cut off the casting blocks and lightly sand the mating surfaces, with respiratory protection. It is bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Paint the tires separately from the rims and bring out the tread with a dry brush and dust pigments.
A resin accessory set. It is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the model itself are not included in the package.
