The S-211 is a light two-seat jet aircraft of Italian design, built mainly to train pilots, with the ability to carry out light combat tasks as well. It has a slender fuselage, a high-mounted wing and a tandem cockpit in which the instructor's rear seat sits higher so that he can see forward over the student. Low weight, simple maintenance and acceptable operating costs made it an interesting machine for smaller air forces that needed to cover training and light tasks with a single type. It is exactly those foreign operators that this box is devoted to.
Finish the cockpit and the instrument panel before you close the fuselage, as on a tandem cockpit the interior shows well through the large canopy. Glue with thin cement for plastic, which is drawn into a closed seam by itself. Apply a primer before spraying; it reveals the seams that still need sanding. The more colorful markings of foreign operators stand out on a smooth base, so apply the decals onto gloss varnish and use a decal softener so that they are drawn into the engraved lines. Finally seal the decals with a varnish in the degree of sheen you want.
