A single wheel without the rubber comes in useful where you want to turn off from a smooth production arrangement: as a spare wheel fixed to the hull or at the rear, as an element used in a diorama beside the vehicle, or straight on the suspension to capture the state where a wheel has lost its tread. Details like these are what turns a model into a particular machine rather than a generic example. Because it is a single piece, count on not being able to fit out a whole suspension from it.
The M60 was an American tank introduced at the beginning of the 1960s and progressively modernized into the M60A1 to M60A3 versions. It is best to sand wet and with respiratory protection. Use super glue (cyanoacrylate) for gluing, because ordinary polystyrene cement will not bond resin. Apply a primer before painting. A bare steel disc takes a dark wash into the pressings and fine drybrushing in a metallic shade on the edges very well. If you use the wheel as a spare part on the hull, weather it a shade differently from the vehicle - more contrast looks more natural.
This is not a model on its own but an accessory for a plastic kit. The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted; glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
