It is not a vehicle kit but a replacement for the plastic parts that gives the running gear the right shape and sharpness of detail.
The Jagdpanzer 38 was a German light tank destroyer on the modified chassis of the Panzer 38(t) light tank, armed with a 7.5 cm gun in a steeply sloped front plate. It was built in series from 1944 in two plants, in Prague and in Plzen. Both makers kept to the same basic design, but they differed in the details of the running gear, and the shape of the idler wheel is among the differences that show best on a finished model. Choosing the right variant therefore places a model with a particular maker and production period.
Wash the parts in lukewarm water with detergent, so that no mold release agent stays on them. Cut the casting block off with a fine saw or a cutting disc and level the area with a file; sand wet or with a respirator, as resin dust should not be inhaled. They are bonded with super glue; cement for plastic is of no use here. Before gluing, try the wheel dry and check that the track will run in line with the drive sprocket. Start the painting with a primer; apply the final dust pigments and mud effects from the lower part of the wheel upward, the way dirt settles on a real vehicle.
The set is an accessory, not a complete model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
