This item is not a kit of the vehicle. It is a detail accessory cast in resin, intended for finishing off a model of the German Pz.Kpfw. III Ausf. L medium tank in 1:35 scale. The set brings the jerrycan rack and the jerrycans themselves in the version known as the 1939 pattern with ABP markings, that is, a variant that plastic kits mostly simplify or do not hold at all. A resin casting handles crisper edges, the fine pressed ribs on the walls of the jerrycans and the thin straps of the rack, and that is exactly what makes the accessory tell on a finished model.
Jerrycans in a rack at the rear or on the fenders were part of the typical look of vehicles in the field and they are details everyone notices on a model. The set also suits as an addition to a diorama or a vignette, where the jerrycans work loose as well. According to the name the version is tied to the equipment of the 2nd SS Panzergrenadier Division; the period markings of jerrycans differed between individual makers.
First wash the parts in lukewarm water with dish soap so that remains of the mold release agent are removed - the paint will not hold otherwise. Cut the casting blocks off with a saw or a knife, do not break them. Do the sanding wet and with respiratory protection, as resin dust is not to be inhaled. It is glued with super glue (cyanoacrylate), possibly with an accelerator; ordinary polystyrene cement does not work here. A primer is advisable before painting, otherwise the paint adheres badly to smooth resin.
The accessory is supplied unpainted, as a resin set. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package. The number of parts in the set is not stated here.
