Color sample card - Kunkadlo

A reference sample card of shades from the manufacturer Peewit, prepared for the aircraft known under the nickname Kunkadlo. Take note: it is not a coating material and cannot be painted with. It is an aid for choosing a color, a physical carrier with samples of shades which you lay beside a mixed paint or a sprayed part and compare for a match.

Use

• Comparing a mixed or a bought shade with a sample
• Choosing the nearest paint from your own collection when you do not have the exact shade
• Checking the tone once dry and after varnishing, when the shade shifts
• A reference when mixing a blend of your own
• A permanent aid for further builds of the same machine

Who the sample card is for

For modelers who are building this aircraft and do not want to guess the shades from photographs on a monitor. A screen distorts a color according to calibration and the surrounding light, whereas a physical sample is judged in the same conditions as the model. It will also serve well those who mix their shades themselves and need to have a target they are aiming at. The manufacturer makes other accessories for the same aircraft as well, but the sample card is the only one among them which is used not on the model but at the palette.

The sample card is a reference aid, not a paint and not a decal. Paints, thinners and a kit are not included in the package. Judge the samples in diffuse daylight and protect them from direct sunlight.
