A figure assembly in cast resin in 1:24 scale that, according to the name, brings together two figures of a single scene. It is not a kit in the usual sense: the parts are cleaned up, put together and prepared for paint, and from there on it is the work of a painter. A smaller scale than that of busts means you work with the whole figure including its stance and proportions rather than with the face alone, and that the detail has to be suggested more sparingly.
Wash the parts in lukewarm water with a drop of detergent and let them dry completely, otherwise the primer will not hold. Cut the casting blocks off with a saw or a knife and level the area left behind with fine abrasive paper; sand resin wet and with respiratory protection. Look for the parting lines under side lighting, as they are easy to miss on the smaller parts. Always try the fit dry, and only then glue with cyanoacrylate glue. Fill the seams with modeling filler and sand them perfectly smooth, so that no trace of a joint is left on the finished figure.
After a thin primer, work out the color composition of the two figures: leave one the leading role with higher contrast and let the other support it with a more muted treatment. In 1:24 scale build the tones in thin coats, but with a somewhat stronger difference between light and shadow, otherwise the figure flattens out at a distance. Deal with the face and the tiny eyes early, while the part can still be turned freely. A dry brush draws out fur and rough surfaces, and a wash into the folds the textiles and the straps. It is practical to paint the individual parts separately and to put them together only at the end; the whole then goes onto the base.
The figure is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Paints, primer and glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
