1:100 Renault AHN version 1 is a small resin kit of the French truck, intended for experienced modelers and players of tabletop games.
Responsibility details are not available.
A resin kit for experienced modelers, worked in the scale ordinary for tabletop wargames. The castings correspond to the French truck in the form designated as version 1. Although the model is small, it holds the shape of the cab, the cargo bed and the running gear, so once painted it stands up even seen close up.
The Renault AHN came into being at the close of the nineteen-thirties as a response to the French army's requirement for a new generation of trucks. The prototype was presented at the beginning of 1940, that is, only a few weeks before the defeat of France, so production got under way only in an occupied country. The vehicle was powered by a six-cylinder engine, its load capacity was around three and a half tons and it was rated a reliable machine on a made-up road, though it did worse off-road.
First rid the parts of mold release agent in a warm bath with a little detergent. Cut the casting blocks off with a saw, not with nippers, or the slender parts risk cracking. The joints are held by cyanoacrylate glue. Paint the cab and the cargo bed separately while the surfaces are freely accessible, and at the end bring the surface to life with a dark removable shade, so that the edges and the pressed features stand out.
The vehicle is supplied as a resin kit, unassembled and unpainted. Paints and glue are not enclosed.
