Responsibility details are not available.
A plastic kit from the Haunted Manor series in 1:12 scale from the American brand Polar Lights. It is not a vehicle but a figure scene from the setting of a haunted manor, that is a model built as a small self-contained diorama. It is supplied unassembled and unpainted.
The Haunted Manor series follows on from the tradition of horror and haunting themes, which have a firm place in American plastic modeling. The individual pieces of the series work with scenes from the setting of an old manor and are conceived rather as compositions with a figure and scenic elements than as a bare figure. Anyone building a display case on the theme of classic horror can let several pieces of this line follow on from one another.
Scenic models live off light and shade, which is why it pays with them to paint the individual parts before the final assembly, while they are easy to reach. Glue the parts with thin cement for plastic, fill the seams and sand them over. Stone, wood and metal are brought to life by a dark wash run into the recesses and by a dry brush on the edges, which pulls the texture of the surface out. Paint the figure separately and seat it into the scene only at the end. Matte varnish at the end unifies the surface and supports the gloomy atmosphere.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
