1:48 N.A. B-25J Mitchell stencils

B-25J Mitchell decals - technical stencils, 1:48 (Art Scale)

A set of waterslide decals in 1:48 scale containing the technical and service lettering (stencils) for a model of the B-25J Mitchell bomber. The extent of the sheet is conceived to cover two models and completes the small warning and service lettering that national insignia sets do not usually contain.

The real subject

The North American B-25J Mitchell was the most heavily produced version of this twin-engine medium bomber. The real machines carried a great deal of small technical lettering around access panels, tanks, armament and engines, which gives a model a realistic look.

Use

• Apply the small lettering onto a smooth gloss varnish so that the film around the lettering does not go matte.
• Cut each motif out separately and transfer it onto the surface with lukewarm water.
• Because of the small size, help yourself with tweezers and secure adhesion with a decal softener.
• Even the finished markings out with a final flat or semi-gloss varnish.

Who the set is for

For modelers who want to finish the surface of their Mitchell in 1:48 scale with faithful service lettering.

This is a standalone decal set; the model, paints and varnish are not included in the package.
