The real subject

Ultraman is a Japanese hero series which has brought out a whole range of characters since the 1960s and belongs among the best-known subjects of Japanese popular culture to this day. Tiga is one of them, and the Sky Type epithet distinguishes one of the forms the character transforms into. The word Suit in the name refers to the newer conception, in which the hero fights in an armored suit.

What you are buying

A plastic kit of a figure. It is supplied unassembled, the parts are on frames and are joined according to the enclosed instructions, which also give their number and the sequence of steps. The basic form of the same character without the Sky Type epithet is also made, so they can be placed side by side.

Building and painting tips

• Separate the parts with side cutters a little away from the part, and clean the remainder up with a blade and fine sandpaper.
• Put the articulated joints together without glue until you are sure of the position; glue in a joint cannot be taken back.
• If you want to paint the kit, wash and degrease the parts first, otherwise the paint will not hold on the smooth surface.
• Choose glue and paints that are intended for plastic models.
• Sort the small parts of the hands and the weapons into a dish in advance, so that they do not get lost.
