Responsibility details are not available.
A set of small resin parts made by 3D printing, representing the French canvas wading boots known as Pataugas in 1:72 scale. It is an accessory for figures and dioramas from the Czech maker Firma49, not a standalone model. The boots suit bringing military and civilian scenes of the postwar era to life.
The Pataugas were canvas boots with a rubber sole that the French army brought in at the end of the 1940s. They made their name in the colonial conflicts in Indochina and Algeria and were worn by soldiers and civilians alike in the field. The firm profiled sole and the upper in heavy cloth are characteristic.
Separate the parts from the print supports; before trimming, it is worth dipping the resin briefly in hot water so that it softens and does not fray. They are bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Before painting, wash any mold release agent off the parts and apply a primer. Flat olive and earth shades suit a canvas look; bring the sole together with a darker tone.
The accessory is supplied as unpainted resin parts. Paints, glue and figures are not included in the package.
