This is not a motorcycle model but a detail set. It holds the parts for building a realistic drive chain with individual links that will replace the simplified chain from the base kit. The set is meant for models of the racing Ducati Desmosedici in the GP4 to GP11 line.
The chain is one of the most noticeable features of an uncovered motorcycle. Built up from fine links, it looks far more convincing than a one-piece plastic or rubber chain.
This is careful work with small photo-etched parts. Assemble the links according to the instructions, clean the chain and join it as instructed; use metallic shades for painting and bring out the wear gently.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted; the base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
