A detailing part for a model, not a kit of the motorcycle. The variant is aimed at a single season of the racing Honda RC211V, the year 2006, when the machine raced for the last time before the change to a smaller capacity. For a modeler who is building precisely this last season, it is the narrowest and therefore the most accurate choice of the clutch variants made for this machine.
Why the season matters
The configuration of the clutch basket on a racing machine changes during its career, because the whole engine changes as well. The manufacturer therefore makes several variants with different ranges of years, and this one is defined the most narrowly. If you are building a model in the livery of the 2006 season, you will reach for it; for earlier seasons the manufacturer makes other variants.
First try on the model how much of the original plastic has to go, and only then cut. Degrease the surface polished after sanding, otherwise super glue holds badly. Dose the glue with a toothpick, as one drop is amply enough. Do the painting off the model, so that the brush gets everywhere: a thin base, a metallic shade and a dark wash to bring out the recesses. If you are building the model with the side exposed, add a restrained patina only in the places where oil or dust would reach in reality, and keep it to scale.
This is an accessory to a model, not a kit of the motorcycle. The base model, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
