This is a resin, 3D printed detail set in 1:12 scale that faithfully replaces the dry clutch on a model of the Ducati Panigale Superleggera V4 motorcycle. It is not a motorcycle kit but an accessory for more advanced builders. The maker is Falcon Scale Models.
The Ducati Panigale V4 Superleggera is a supersport built in limited numbers with a large share of carbon parts and an open dry clutch, which is one of the most conspicuous technical features of the machine. Rendering the clutch faithfully is exactly what raises the realism of the finished model.
Wash the parts free of print resin residue and cut the supports off carefully. Before cutting, the resin can be warmed in hot water so that it does not crumble. They are bonded with cyanoacrylate (super glue); sand with respiratory protection and, where useful, use fine metal wire for the lightened elements.
The accessory is supplied unpainted and without the base model. Paints, glue and the kit are not included, unless stated otherwise.
