This is an aftermarket detail set from the Japanese brand Top Studio in 1:12 scale. It is not a motorcycle model but a comprehensive set of parts in resin, photo-etched and turned metal, with tubes and wire added. It serves to improve a model of the 2014 Honda RC213V racing motorcycle in 1:12 scale markedly.
The Honda RC213V is Honda's works prototype for the premier class of the road racing world championships, powered by a four-stroke V4. The 2014 season was one of the brand's most successful. The set makes it possible to finish a number of visible assemblies, such as the hydraulic and electrical joints, the brakes and the cable runs.
Wash the mold release residue off the resin parts and clean up the casting remnants. Glue both resin and metal with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue), and bend the photo-etched parts over an edge. Shape the wiring and the tubes to follow the real runs, and paint them once a primer has been applied.
The detail set does not hold the model of the motorcycle itself. Glue, paints and the base kit are not included in the package.
