An aftermarket detail accessory from Top Studio, not a standalone kit. The package contains photo-etched metal parts (weld line) for a convincing imitation of weld beads and joints on models in 1:12 scale.
The photo-etched strips are applied to the frame, the exhaust headers, the tanks and other places where a weld is visible on the real machine. They replace a hand-formed weld and give the model fine, repeatable and realistic detail. The 1:12 version suits motorcycle models above all.
Cut the parts off the fret, lay them on the joint and fix them with super glue. Once dry, the transition can be picked out with paint or weathering so that the weld looks metallic and used.
This is a detail accessory, not a standalone kit; a suitable base model is needed to use it. Paints, glue and the base model are not included in the package.
