DUAL EXO 8A – TWINKLE PINK 60ML.

Twinkle Pink, AK interactive acrylic paint, 60 ml

An acrylic modeling paint from the AK interactive brand. The name makes clear the name of the shade, Twinkle Pink, its membership of the Dual Exo range and the 60 ml volume of the bottle. The paint dries to a satin, that is semi-gloss, finish.

Applying with a brush and with an airbrush

This paint is worked with just like other modeling acrylics. When working with a brush it pays to draw short, overlapping strokes and let the coat level itself out instead of going over it again and again, as that lifts acrylic that is still wet and leaves streaks. When spraying with an airbrush the opposite applies: lay the paint on in several light passes from a greater distance and only then build the coverage up. One thick coat fills the engraving in and tends to run on the edges.

Use

• Mix the bottle well before working, as with acrylics the pigment settles at the bottom.
• Clear the surface of the model of dust and grease from fingers beforehand.
• Apply the paint in thin coats and let them settle between one another.
• Flush the airbrush out right after finishing, as dried acrylic is far harder to remove from a nozzle.
• The details on thinning and on the drying time are on the label of the bottle.
• You can seal the coat with a varnish according to the degree of sheen the finished model is to have.

Who the paint is for

For modelers who need to add a particular shade from the AK interactive range, and in a form with a semi-gloss finish. The 60 ml volume suits cases where the same shade comes back on several models in progress.

Spray only in a well ventilated space and with protection for your airways. Close the bottle well after use, store it out of the reach of children and keep to the instructions on the label.
