DUAL EXO SCENERY – 27A – LIGHT MARBLE 60ML

Dual Exo Scenery 27A Light Marble 60 ml

An acrylic modeling paint from the Dual Exo Scenery line by AK interactive. The volume of 60 ml is part of the name of the product. It is an acrylic with a satin finish, that is a coat that stays in a fine semi-gloss once dry. The designation 27A and the word Light suggest that this is the lighter tone of the pair; the darker counterpart 27B Dark Marble exists as a separate item.

Working with a light shade

Light tones generally come out best over a light surface: on dark plastic or over a dark base coat, expect more thin layers than over a gray or white base. A semi-gloss finish then helps a light area, because the fine reflection brings out the shape and the edges that would merge on a completely flat coat. Anyone who wants to bring a finished model to a uniform look reaches at the end for a protective clear coat of the chosen sheen.

Use

• The paint can be applied with a brush as well as with an airbrush, ideally in several light coats.
• Mix the bottle properly before use so that the pigment is evenly dispersed.
• A base coat under the finish improves adhesion on plastic, resin and photo-etch alike.
• Let every coat dry before you lay down the next one.
• Wash the tools right after work; dried acrylic is considerably harder to remove.

Who the paint is for

For builders of scenery, dioramas and bases who work with stone and marble subjects, and for modelers of science fiction and fantasy subjects. It also serves well wherever a light tone suits layering and lightening of surfaces. Look at the particular shade against the manufacturer's color chart.

The product is intended for modeling use. Keep it out of the reach of children, ventilate when spraying and protect your airways. You will find the instructions on thinning, drying and safety on the manufacturer's packaging.
