These are colored 3D decals for an interior in 1:35 scale for a model of the KAMAZ 4310 off-road truck. It is not a kit nor a resin set: the decals are applied to the plastic parts of the interior and replace flat or merely suggested detail with a finished colored rendering. What matters is that this set is cut for the Trumpeter kit. The package contains neither the kit, nor paints, nor varnishes.
The KAMAZ-4310 is an off-road truck with 6x6 drive from the 1980s, built in Naberezhnye Chelny. It was used as a universal carrier of cargo and of bodies in the army as well as in civilian service, from a flatbed to special forms. The cab of this type is roomy and on a model it can be built with the doors open, so the interior is not a mere formality: a colored dashboard and the seats are clearly visible once it is built.
The base has to be smooth and glossy; the decal has no adhesive layer of its own and holds precisely on the gloss. Paint the interior parts, let them dry perfectly and spray a gloss varnish over them. Soak the decal in lukewarm water for about fifteen seconds, let it release from the backing paper and slide it into place with a soft brush; blot the excess water away with a paper tissue. Do not use a decal softener or a decal fixer, as their chemicals attack the printed resin and will ruin the element; on edges and recessed detail a drop of cyanoacrylate glue helps. At the end, unify the areas with a matte or semi-gloss varnish, so that the edges of the carrier film are not visible. Finish the interior before you close the cab.
This is a supplementary decal set, not a model. The base kit, paints and varnishes are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
