An aftermarket set of pre-colored interior parts printed by 3D technology on decal paper from Quinta Studio. It is intended for plastic models of the upgraded Sukhoi Su-27SM fighter in 1:48 scale and turns the cockpit into a detailed interior with no photo-etch and no laborious painting.

The real subject

The Su-27SM is an upgraded version of the heavy Flanker fighter with improved avionics and a partly reworked cockpit. The set contains the matching instrument panel, side panels, seat and other cockpit elements.

Use

• Cut the part out, lift it off the backing and lay it on the matching place in the cockpit.
• On curved surfaces gentle pressure and a little extra water help; a decal softener does not belong here, as it attacks the printed resin.
• The detail can be brought out with a dark wash into the recesses.
