A colored cockpit detail set; it is not an aircraft kit. The parts are 3D printed, fully colored and supplied on decal paper: the instrument panel, the side consoles, the levers and the switches with fine relief. The set is intended for late Harrier GR.3 models in 1:48 scale. Dimensionally it is based on the Kinetic kit.
The Hawker Siddeley Harrier GR.3 was a British attack aircraft with vertical and short take-off, fitted in its late form with a modified nose and upgraded avionics. It kept its unique ability to hover and to operate from small areas. The single-seat cockpit with its rich instrumentation makes an interior set a rewarding accessory.
The parts release in water like a decal, but once off the paper they behave more like pre-colored flexible details. They are applied to cleaned cockpit surfaces, and small elements can be secured with a drop of cyanoacrylate. Leave out decal softeners, as the printed resin cannot take them. Tweezers and a dry test of the placement are recommended.
This is a detail set, not a complete model. The Kinetic base kit, glue and paints are not included, unless stated otherwise.
