The set does not contain a model and assumes the base kit you already have.
The A321 is the stretched version of the A320 family. The higher take-off weight called for a more powerful powerplant and modified high-lift devices, so the wing behaves differently in landing configuration from the shorter members of the family. The CFM56-5B is a high-bypass turbofan engine that was used in various thrust versions across the whole A320 family; the version for the A321 is among the most powerful. The exact designation of the variant in the name is therefore not pointless - it determines which combination of airframe and powerplant the set belongs to.
First wash the castings in warm water with detergent to free them of mold release agent. Cut the casting blocks off with a saw or a disc and finish the surface by damp sanding with breathing protection. It is glued with cyanoacrylate glue. The dry trial is essential with resin: you usually need to thin the trailing edge of the wing, so that the parts follow on at the right angle and do not form a step with the kit. It can be painted with ordinary modeling paints over primer.
The set contains resin parts and is supplied unpainted. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
