This injection-molded plastic kit from Big Planes Kits in 1:144 scale contains parts for building two aircraft: the Swiss Pilatus PC-6 Turbo Porter and its American version, the AU-23 Peacemaker. The kit is supplemented by photo-etched parts and masks for the glazing. The molds were created by modern 3D design, and clear fuselage parts are included for a better seating of the windows.
The Pilatus PC-6 Turbo Porter is a single-engine light transport aircraft with outstanding takeoff and landing qualities on short and unpaved surfaces. It is used for transport, for airdrops and for observation. The AU-23 Peacemaker version was created in the United States and was deployed in a light combat and support role. Both machines share a characteristic high-wing design.
The small 1:144 scale calls for careful work with the small parts. Protect the glazing with the enclosed masks and glue the photo-etched parts with cyanoacrylate glue. Apply a smooth gloss base before the decals. Two aircraft in one package make it possible to build a striking pair for a display case.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
