An injection-molded plastic kit of the narrow-body Boeing 737-700 airliner and of its military C-40B version in 1:144 scale. The model from Zvezda contains the plastic sprues, a clear part, a decal sheet and a stand for displaying it in flight. The package holds the winglets for the C-40B and C-40C versions as well as the standard wingtips, so several variants can be built.
The Boeing 737-700 is a member of the popular 737 Next Generation family. The military C-40 version serves the US Air Force and the US Navy to carry people and cargo; the C-40B version is equipped to carry senior officials. The aircraft combines a proven airframe with modern avionics and the range for long routes.
With airliners it is the clean, smooth surface that decides: fill the fuselage joints carefully and sand them down. White and gloss surfaces come out well once a filler primer is on and they are sprayed with an airbrush; a gloss varnish is recommended before the decals. According to the instructions the landing gear can also be shown retracted for a model in flight on the stand supplied.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
