Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the British carrier-borne de Havilland Sea Venom in 1:144 scale from Mark I. The name covers the all-weather fighter versions FAW.21 and FAW.22 and the ECM.21 guise intended for electronic warfare duties. The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted; the contents of the package, the number of parts and the number of decal schemes are not stated here.
The Sea Venom came about as the carrier-borne derivative of the two-seat all-weather Venom. It has a short fuselage with radar in the nose, the crew side by side and a twin-boom tail section; for service on aircraft carriers it received folding wings, strengthened landing gear and an arrestor hook. The ECM version was adapted for electronic warfare duties and carried different equipment, which showed in the external appearance of the machine as well.
Before gluing, work out which parts belong to the version you have chosen — the electronic warfare guise differs in equipment that is not used on the other versions. Glue the booms and the tail surfaces on a flat surface and let the joints harden properly. Add the small antennas and sensors only after the main painting, as they break off easily. Apply the paint with an airbrush, thinned, in two passes; a lighter base suits naval camouflage. Lay the decals on a gloss clear coat and unify the surface with a matte one.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
