A clear vacuum-formed canopy for F-14 Tomcat models in 1:144 scale from the brand Brengun. It is not a model of the airplane but a clear accessory on its own that replaces the thicker canopy from an ordinary kit. The canopy is drawn for the Revell kit.
The F-14 has a large teardrop canopy over its tandem cockpit. The vacuum-formed part is thinner and clearer than the injection-molded canopy and makes it possible to model the canopy in the open position, so that the interior of both seats shows to advantage.
Cut the canopy out with a margin, sand the edges and attach it with clear canopy glue or a minimum of super glue. Mask the frames and spray with an airbrush.
This is an accessory, not a model in its own right. The paints, the glue and the kit are not included in the package.
