1:144 F-15E vacuum-formed canopy is a clear replacement part for a kit you have already bought, not a model. Drawn film replaces the thick plastic canopy and opens up the view into the two-seat cockpit.

An accessory from Brengun for the Revell kit. It is not a kit but the single clear part that is swapped on the model. On a two-seat machine the glazing is long and makes up a large part of the silhouette, so the difference between an injected and a vacuum-formed canopy is even more pronounced here than on single-seat aircraft. Thin film does not distort the view inside and the frames look delicate once they are sprayed.
The F-15E is an American two-seat strike fighter derived from the F-15 fighter. The crew consists of a pilot and a weapon systems officer seated in tandem under shared glazing. It is exactly that long canopy with a minimum of framing that is characteristic of the type.
A long canopy is more prone to deformation, so trim it with a generous margin and sand the seating edge gradually along its whole length so that no wedge forms. The surface you sand on has to be perfectly flat, ideally glass with fine abrasive paper and water. Protect the inside of the film from scratching, for instance with a strip of adhesive tape that you remove at the end. Finish and install the cockpit, including the seats, before gluing. Mask the frames with narrow strips of tape or with masking fluid; on glazing of this length it pays to work in segments. It is glued with clear canopy cement, which does not fog it.
This is an accessory to a model, not a kit. Glue, paints and the base kit are not included in the package.
