About product

Eduard 1:350 IJN national flag (large) — steel photo-etched set

This is a photo-etched accessory, not a model of a ship. The set contains color pre-printed flags of the Imperial Japanese Navy made of springy steel, which lets the flag be shaped into a realistic ripple, as though it were flying in the wind.

Contents and use

  • Color, pre-printed naval flags of the Imperial Japanese Navy in the large variant.
  • The steel material holds the bent shape, so the flag can be rippled into a dynamic pose.
  • The parts are glued with cyanoacrylate glue to the mast or the flagstaff of the model.

Who it is for

  • For builders of plastic models of Japanese warships in 1:350 scale.
  • For those who want to complete a model with a faithful flying flag.

The set does not contain the model of the ship itself or the glue.
