1:144 Harrier canopy is a replacement clear canopy for a model of the Harrier vertical take-off aircraft in 1:144 scale. It is not a kit but an accessory to the Revell kit.
Responsibility details are not available.
A clear cockpit canopy for a model of the Harrier scaled to 1:144 from the Czech accessory maker Brengun. It replaces the clear part from the Revell kit; the model itself is not in the box.
The Harrier has a high-set cockpit with excellent visibility, and the canopy is impossible to miss on a model precisely because it stands out above the line of the fuselage. A clear part from an older injection tool tends to be thick, with a visible parting plane across the top and a slight haze from the mold. A thinner, cleaner replacement therefore shows more on this aircraft than on types with the cockpit sunk into the fuselage spine.
Before you fit the canopy, finish the cockpit: once it is glued on you cannot get inside. Paint the inside of the tub, add the seat and a figure if you want one, and only then deal with the glazing. Separate the thin-walled canopy from the backing by tracing the outline, level the seating edge by sanding on paper laid on a flat board, and restore clarity by polishing and dipping it in gloss varnish. The frames are masked with narrow strips of masking tape, sprayed along with the fuselage, and the mask is lifted only once the paint has dried. Glue it with clear cement for glazing or with white glue, never with super glue, as its fumes will permanently fog the surface.
The accessory is supplied without a kit and unpainted. The model, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
