An injection-molded plastic kit of the British twin-engine turboprop HS.748, or rather of its military Andover version, in the small 1:144 scale from the Czech brand Mark I Models. This Europe-scheme edition offers markings for the RAF, the RAE and the Belgian Air Force. It is a cleanly molded model with fine engraved panels.
The HS.748 was a British short- to medium-haul transport aircraft with turboprop engines, designed at the end of the 1950s. Its military offshoot, the Andover, served as a tactical and communications transport, among others with the Royal Air Force. The aircraft spread to a number of civil and military operators all over the world.
Glue the small parts in this scale precisely and with care. The cabin glazing is provided as decals, so it pays to smooth the surface underneath them and overcoat it with gloss varnish. Once the base color has been sprayed on with an airbrush, apply the markings and a fine panel wash. The model can be mounted on the enclosed stand.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
